MERSTHAM WOMEN'S GROUP

Rebels with a Cause and a Cuppa

Welcome Ladies, we are a club for women, we run activities, have social evenings, go on trips and meet for coffee and cake, craft, walks and as many other activities as we can think of.

WHO WE ARE

Merstham Women's Group was founded in 2018, we have one aim, to provide activities and nights out for local women which are fun and affordable.  We are open to all women in and around the Merstham area.   We are run by a volunteer committee of 7 women. We meet every other month to discuss the group and make plans. Once a year at the AGM we present the annual report and financial summary to account for members' money. To make our activities as affordable  as possible we have two payment options, the first is to join as a member for a year for £24. The other is to pay for the evenings and events that you can attend individually, normally these are £3.00 each. We hold monthly meetings in Canada Hall, next to All Saints Church, South Merstham.  Have a look at our ‘monthly meetings’ to see the sorts of things we do.  We aim to put on a wide range of activities and will try our best to organise anything that our members suggest. All events are open to all women and ones at Canada Hall come with a free tea or coffee and biscuit! We also run activities outside of our monthly meeting at  Canada Hall, see ‘other events’ for the full range of activities we try to offer. These are run in a variety of places and times, this is to try and make them available to as wide a range of women as possible. Please come along to one of our meetings to see if you like us,  it is a great way to make new friends, try new activities and get out of the house for a bit.
